What it opens

For anyone who gets READMEs, notes, JSON or CSV files and just wants to read them. One shortcut, ⌘/, flips between the rendered page and the raw source.

  • Markdown, GitHub-style, with Mermaid diagrams
  • JSON as a tree; CSV and TSV as sortable, filterable tables
  • Jupyter notebooks, logs with level filters, and diffs
  • Highlighted source for any other text file

Careful with what it opens

  • File content is treated as untrusted: HTML is sanitized and the page runs under a strict Content Security Policy
  • Remote images are blocked by default, so opening a file doesn't tell a tracking pixel you opened it
  • Reloads when the file changes on disk, and detects encodings such as Excel's UTF-16 and Windows-1252 CSVs
